Elizabeth is a results oriented IT professional with 22 years of diverse business experience. She is a Senior Vice President of Technology at Ticketmaster where she is responsible for Central Operations including Critical Incident Management and Contact Center Technology. She has a demonstrated history of transforming organizations by building great teams and consistently implementing industry leading technologies. She provides vision and leadership that drive significant cost savings and empower teams with highly available applications that focus on positive customer experiences.

Sandra Johnson
Co-Chapter Director

Sandra, who earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering,  spent the majority of her career in the energy industry holding various engineering and management positions. With a passion for STEM,  Sandra hopes to see many more diverse young women entering and staying in technology fields, ultimately becoming leaders and decision makers. As a Hispanic female and a first-generation college grad, Sandra recognizes the multiple challenges and sometimes lack of opportunities faced in many of the Denver communities for post-high school education. She is thrilled to serve as a Chapter Director and further the ChickTech mission here in Denver.


Joann Orefice
Co-Director of Volunteers

Being from New York, Joann just loves life in Colorado and spending as much time in the great outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, snow mobiling and enjoy everything beautiful Colorado has to offer. She is a Senior HR Director for Ticketmaster and one of the two Volunteer Directors at Chick Tech. Joann wants to support​​ young girls in realizing their potential in the STEM industry!

Nicci Shaw
Co-Director of Finance and Operations

As the Operations Director at a digital marketing agency in Denver, Nicci gets to work closely with awesome women who are thriving in tech careers. She is passionate about expanding women’s and girls’ perceptions about the careers they are able to pursue! When she’s not working or volunteering with ChickTech, she loves to make DIY home decor, salsa dance, ski, and travel.


Melissa Schwass
Co-High School Program Director

Recently relocated to the state of Colorado, Melissa is an Illinois native who enjoys helping others, the outdoors, and her pets. Primarily focused on Program and Project Management, Melissa is an Information Technology Consultant and throughout her tenure in IT, Melissa noticed that she would often be the only female leadership in the room. This is why Melissa hopes to encourage other females to pursue STEM educational programs and careers.

Adrienne Ritter
Logistics Director

Adrienne is currently a Senior Financial Analyst at Beeline and Logistics Director for ChickTech Denver. She is really excited to show girls their potential in such an incredible, fun industry, with strong female role models.

Anou Manavalan
Co-High School Program Director

Anou Manavalan is a Managing Director of Software Applications Development at Charles Schwab. She has a Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA. Over the last 23 years, she has been helping multiple fortune 500 companies to strategically move towards the latest technology.

Having noticed that there are not many women in the technology world, she is passionate about helping other women and girls to find and pursue their own passions in the field of technology. As a mentor and high school program director for ChickTech, she’s very excited to help high school girls see how interesting and easy the technology world can be. She’s also an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking with her family and friends.


Laura Edmonds
Director of Marketing

Laura Edmonds is an Account Executive, and has spent the last six years focusing on marketing with a wide range of backgrounds, working with companies from small start ups to PepsiCo. With a Bachelors in Marketing and a Masters in International Management, Laura wanted to use her education and background to help facilitate the ChickTech mission – helping young women learn about the wide range of opportunities in STEM! When she is not working, you can find Laura traveling the world – 33+ countries and counting!

Jordan Jarvis
Co-Mentorship Program Manager

Jordan’s a Denver transplant from Salt Lake City, Utah, who enjoys the great outdoors, attending city events and spending time with her friends and family. She recently finished her Masters in Organizational Leadership and Project Management, so she can further her career in technology. Currently, Jordan works for a software company, delivering trainings and consulting with clients to help them create training programs for their employees. Helping the younger community has always been a passion for her. Jordan serves as a Co-Mentor Manager at ChickTech, where they are developing and launching the Denver Chapter’s mentor program.


Erica St. James
Co-Director of Partnerships & Fundraising

Erica is a Colorado native who enjoys all of the different seasons that Colorado has to offer.  You can find her hiking with her pups or snowboarding with her friends throughout the year. Erica has worked in the tech industry for 10 years now as a SAP Software Specialist for several different business industries.  Erica has worked on many different SAP software implementation projects that has given her a great understanding of how versatile the tech industry is. As a Co-Director of Partnerships & Fundraising Erica has a passion for helping students get into tech careers and learn about the opportunities available for young people to get involved in.

Jaime Koritza
Co-Director of Finance and Operations

Jaime is an Engineering Manager at Northrop Grumman, a global security company, with over a decade of experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, including chemical, environmental, and systems engineering. She earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and an M.S. in Systems Engineering from UCLA. She feels extremely fortunate to have had the opportunities and encouragement to pursue a career in technology and wants to pay that forward to other girls and women through her involvement with ChickTech Denver. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, strategy board games, and playing with her young son.

Tori Wood
Co-Mentorship Program Manager

Tori is a software engineer at Ibotta, where she gets to work with talented and fun individuals writing code to solve challenging problems every day. Prior to working in technology, she worked as an actuary focusing largely on pricing and reserving for a large health insurance company. Throughout her career, Tori frequently found herself to be the only woman in the room. She’s passionate about shifting that dynamic by empowering young women to learn about all of the opportunities available to them in STEM fields. When she’s not working, you can find her soaking up the Colorado sun with her dog Max, trying out a new restaurant, or fiddling around with a new technology or framework.


Kelsey Osborn
Social Media Manager

Kelsey is originally from the tiny state of Rhode Island, but made her way across country to enjoy the beautiful Colorado in 2015. She currently works as Marketing Designer for Amusemints Sweets & Snacks and runs a popular food blog here in Denver, both of which have led her to meet some fantastic people in the Denver community. Kelsey feels fortunate for being surrounded by positive roles models throughout her life and in turn would like to do the same for other young aspiring females.


Denise N. Lord
Co-Director of Volunteers

Denise is a U.S. Army Veteran, a College Campus Library manager, and a FAA Testing Supervisor.  She was born and raised on the tropical island of Trinidad in the southern Caribbean and grew up as a young adult in New York City’s Lower East Side in Manhattan.  She has Masters degrees in Library Science and Information Systems Security from the University of Denver. When Denise isn’t at work you can find her at home glued to the computer screen trying to understand Python Language error codes or either outdoors playing Tennis or Road cycling with her partner.

She volunteers with ChickTech – Denver with the hope to spark and support a passion for technology exploration with young girls.
